These state-of-the-art glasses (sold separately) create a dazzling 3D effect by opening and closing lenses 120 times per second. This requires a television iwth exceptional video features, and that of course will benefit all your 2D viewing.
And while the WX800 delivers 3D video, its own elegant, ultra-thin design approaches 2D. The choice of 46-inch or 54.6-inch screen sizes make Toshiba 3D TVs perfect for building a big, beautiful home theater. Even the stand looks great.
In back, the WX800 features an Ethernet port, along with built-in 802.11a/b/g/n wireless networking. This lets you access Toshiba's Net TV content, for streaming video from services like Netflix, social networking with Twitter and Facebook, Internet radio from Pandora, and a whole lot more, for entertainment beyond the included three dimensions.
Finally, minimizing their televisions' impact on the planet--and your pocketbook--is a concern for Toshiba. LED backlighting is one of the most power-efficient backlight technologies, and with features like a brightness sensor to automatically adjust backlighting to suit ambient light, this HDTV is designed to run with only the power it needs. It meets the strict ENERGY STAR energy efficiency guidelines set forth by the EPA and US Department of Energy.
